Help with childcare costs – Early Education Funding
Children aged two (those that are eligible) and every three to under five-year-old are entitled to Early Education Funded sessions.
Early Education Funding (EEF) is available from the term beginning after a child’s 3rd birthday. Some two-year-olds may also be eligible for EEF, please speak to a member of staff for details.
These sessions are subject to eligibility and availability and for 51 weeks per year. We ‘stretch’ the 15 hours per week ‘term time only’ funding to cover the full year at 11 hours per week.
The nursery offers places to children in receipt of EEF only with no further charge and for which no deposit is required. These places are subject to availability and terms and conditions. Priority is given to children that require full-time places or additional hours.
Childcare vouchers
We are registered with many companies that provide childcare vouchers as an alternative way to pay part of your fees. Please ask at the nursery for more information.
Tax Credits
Parents can claim Working Tax Credit or Child Tax Credit against the costs of childcare, which helps considerably towards the fees. Please find further information here: www.gov.uk/browse/benefits/tax-credits
