Max Fish – Deputy Manager

Max comes from a nursing background and has worked as a Teaching Assistant in local schools for many years. She also has lots of experience working in nurseries and early years environments.
She is a natural born organiser and has a firm but fair approach to childcare making her a fantastic pre-school lead – she is great at preparing children for school.
Max also has Forest School Training and is a big supporter of our outdoors learning environment. She loves inspiring children to connect with nature.

Jo Reynolds – Early Years Practitioner

Jo has many years’ experience in childcare and has two small children of her own. Her warmth and gentle nature supports children in the younger age range.

Additionally, Jo provides specialist support, care and attention for children with Special Educational Needs and Disability. She has formed a lovely attachment to the children she works with, helping them to engage and make strong progress.

Bex Ballington – Special Education Needs and Disability Coordinator

Mum of three, Bex has recently completed a foundation degree in Early Years and is extremely skilled in supporting children with special educational needs and disability.
Always laughing and full of energy, she strives to go the extra mile to encourage children to reach their full potential.
Bex is very sporty and does lots of running in her spare time, so she is good at teaching children the importance of healthy living. She is also a yoga teacher and leads classes for our children at the nursery.

Rosemary Whalley – Early Years Educator

Rosemary has many years of experience working with children. She has previously worked in a maternity ward, been a child minder and a Teaching Assistant in school. She has now joined our pre-school staff and is a real asset to the team with her traditional approach to early years education. She is a real story teller and the children love sitting down with her to read books.
Rosemary has three grown up children and is great at baking – a skill we know the children will enjoy practicing with her!

Georgie recently completed her teacher training qualification and now wishes to gain further experience in an Early Years setting before moving on to primary school education. She hopes to develop a greater understanding of a young child’s journey.
Children instantly take to Georgie’s kind and fun-loving personality. She builds strong bonds with children, which truly brings the best out of them.

Becky has over 15 years’ experience working in childcare and has a vast knowledge of early years education.
She has a fun and bubbly outlook on life and sees the positive in everything. She is fantastically in-tune with young children and knows how to bring the best out of them. Outside of work, Becky is part of a large family that she enjoys spending time with each weekend, especially her little niece who she adores. As a family oriented individual, she prides herself in the advice and support she offers parents.

She has a gentle, calm and collected approach to looking after children, which has a soothing effect on our toddlers, helping them to feel settled while at nursery.
Carla is an incredibly creative member of the team and loves experimenting with home-made resources to inspire imagination and encourage learning through play.
