Recruitment Open Day at Dean Park Day Nursery

We will be holding a recruitment open day at Dean Park Day Nursery for all to attend this Saturday 15th February 2020.
Come along to talk to our Manager, Kelly, and the team about the great opportunities that we have for you at our nursery. The recruitment day will be open from 10am until 12pm, with tea, coffee and croissants to enjoy.

– Level 2 Practitioner
– Level 3 or higher Practitioner
– Apprentices
– Bank staff
– Unqualified staff

Both full and part time hours available. 

Training available.

Please bring any qualifications, DBS certificates & CVs you have and we will have an application form ready for you!

We have a lovely team that we are looking to expand and all we need now is YOU!

Max – Deputy Manager

Max comes from a nursing background and has worked as a Teaching Assistant in local schools for many years. She also has lots of experience working in nurseries and early years environments.
She is a natural born organiser and has a firm but fair approach to childcare making her a fantastic pre-school lead – she is great at preparing children for school.
Max also has Forest School Training and is a big supporter of our outdoors learning environment. She loves inspiring children to connect with nature.

Jo has many years’ experience in childcare and has two small children of her own. Her warmth and gentle nature supports children in the younger age range.

Additionally, Jo provides specialist support, care and attention for children with Special Educational Needs and Disability. She has formed a lovely attachment to the children she works with, helping them to engage and make strong progress.

Bex – Deputy Manager

Mum of three, Bex is also our Special Educational Needs and Disability Coordinator.  She recently completed a foundation degree in Early Years and is extremely skilled in supporting children with special educational needs and disability.
Always laughing and full of energy, she strives to go the extra mile to encourage children to reach their full potential.
Bex is very sporty and does lots of running in her spare time, so she is good at teaching children the importance of healthy living. She is also a yoga teacher and leads classes for our children at the nursery.

Rosemary has many years of experience working with children. She has previously worked in a maternity ward, been a child minder and a Teaching Assistant in school. She has now joined our pre-school staff and is a real asset to the team with her traditional approach to early years education. She is a real story teller and the children love sitting down with her to read books.
Rosemary has three grown up children and is great at baking – a skill we know the children will enjoy practicing with her!

Steph completed her apprenticeship at the nursery and now works across all of the rooms. With her caring and affectionate nature, the children adore her and gravitate towards her. When Steph is not looking after the children, she is the keeper of our nursery pets and a real animal lover.

Georgie recently completed her teacher training qualification and now wishes to gain further experience in an Early Years setting before moving on to primary school education. She hopes to develop a greater understanding of a young child’s journey.
Children instantly take to Georgie’s kind and fun-loving personality. She builds strong bonds with children, which truly brings the best out of them.

Becky has over 15 years’ experience working in childcare and has a vast knowledge of early years education.
She has a fun and bubbly outlook on life and sees the positive in everything. She is fantastically in-tune with young children and knows how to bring the best out of them. Outside of work, Becky is part of a large family that she enjoys spending time with each weekend, especially her little niece who she adores. As a family oriented individual, she prides herself in the advice and support she offers parents.

Ryan, formerly a parent at the nursery, is new to child care and is currently studying to gain his childcare qualification. With his kind and caring nature, we are proud to have him as part of the team as he moves forward with his apprenticeship.
